For more than 30 years H.P.F.M. has been an independent company specialised in High Pressure & Force Metrology. We work closely together with international manufacturers, universities and end-users to continuously develop our specialist knowledge, procedures and our Calibration Measurement Capabilities (CMC’s) for instruments to a world class
standard.
This enables us to meet the high demands in the industries for high pressure quality measurements, validations and primary standard calibrations. We generate accuracies and total measurement uncertainties according to the (K=2) equation. We operate according to the metric system and fractional units, providing industries of any country with (inter)national traceability for final product accuracies.
First in primary standard calibration up to 1.6 GPa
To be able to meet the industries growing demand for a high pressure metrology solution in calibration, H.P.F.M. B.V. developed an advanced pressure balance that can perform high pressure calibrations up to 1.6 GPa, so in this case an International Primary Pressure Standard (IPPS) One of the most accurate standards in the world, and the only one in Europe for calibration. For years we have been the only company in the world that is able to do this!
